Local collaborations are very important to us as small business owners. To us it is important to celebrate our local suppliers and the talent that is readably available, especially in a regional town.
We needed to create some marketing material for a job we have coming up in May, so we teamed up with a new and exciting event planner from Warialda, Tianna from White Sage Event Planning. We catered for a Christmas party/anniversary party for Tianna in December and we were blown away by her attention to detail.
And of course we had to incorporate the ever talented Thistle Flowers!
Photographing the instillation was the gorgeous Claudia Hiscock from Moree. Claudia shadowed a photographer at a wedding we catered for last year and her photos were great, so of course we wanted to have her shoot us again!!
The location was an old shearing shed on Darrens parents property. We both have such a strong tie to agriculture and what is more iconic than a shearing shed. Another plus is that the kids had a great time playing while we worked!!
We have released our BBQ Christmas Menu for 2019. It has all of your favourites including our incredible 9+ Score Full Blood Wagyu Brisket, Lamb Legs, Pork Belly and Pulled Pork with our famous homemade salads; slaw, potato salad and mac and cheese!!
On Saturday the 13th of July, we held our first ever class, Get To Know Your Brisket.
This class was designed to give our participants the knowledge and skill to cook awesome brisket for their friends and family.
We went through everything from where the brisket comes from, selecting, trimming, seasoning and cooking.
Our mission for the day was to start building a community of people who appreciate and love the art of Low And Slow BBQ. We want there to be open and honest conversation and people to be able to look to us for help. Our mission is to bring joy to people through BBQ and good food, and if we can help people along the way our job has been done well!
We will be holding more classes in the future, keep an eye on our website and socials on more details!
Back in March our local, Inverell Chamber of Commerce ran a campaign for local businesses. Currently, Inverell is facing one of the worst droughts many have ever seen, so fittingly the campaign was “Make It Rain”.
The campaign consisted of many different categories, and we teamed up with some very talented businesses, Thistle Flowers (www.thistleflowers.com.au) and Anka McMahon Celebrants (www.ankamcmahon.com) to have a bit of fun with a wedding social media collaboration.
We got some very cheeky models who helped us put together a series of interactive social media posts all labeled “Make It Rain” and “Choose Inverell”
We love our little town and its scary to see the effects of the drought. Times are tough so we support local and love initiatives like the one we participated in!!!
Enjoy our images and if anyone needs a Bacon Bouquet, we can help!!!
